I watched her speech and I can’t decide if she’s just lovely and can’t control what comes out of her mouth in a cute way, or if her ease is way rehearsed and sort of arrogant. The combination of her seeming humility and then those weird self-involved side comments she makes is just unnerving to me. I fucking love her dress though.

I suspect she is really, really eloquent and composed, but in the event that she plans her asides out beforehand, I’ve never thought of her humility and thankfulness as anything but heartfelt.

UPDATE: I just watched the speech over and have only two comments: 1) the rolling eyes this is getting a little old, you won, live it up; and 2) I truly think these things just come out of her mouth, as you suggested, and she’s just a great speaker. I believe the snark and the thanks to be both derived organically (if not, perhaps, the surprise)
